Unico Systems utilize small duct high velocity HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning). Unico systems are ideal for maximizing comfort, efficiency, and architectural aesthetics. The small 2" diameter Unico ducts easily reach areas of the home that are often inaccessible with larger conventional ducts. Unico systems emit air with higher pressure and velocity with circulates air to assure even indoor temperatures. Since all the ducts in a Unico system have a maximum height of 4", the system is easily hidden with on 4" layer of foam rigid foam board. Then, the whole system is sealed with a 1.5" thick layer of spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roofing. Consequently, the finished roof surface has a flat uniform appearance and the duct system is invisible from the street. Notice that this project also included some solar supports to facilitate a future PV solar installation. Solar supports are made of solid anodized aluminum of +/- 1" diameter.
